The apartment on the upper floor of our home has its own separate entrance on the outside of the
house, so you may come and go whenever you like. We offer a very spacious suite : bathroom ,
living room, kitchen, wintergarden veranda with a nice view .., 3 bedrooms ( boxsprings),
luggageroom etc. (Max. 5 people).
Located within 7 km of the Turnhout Railway station, a 10 minutes ride takes you straight into the
heart of Turnhout or Hoogstraten . (Antwerp is 42 km away, 55 minutes by bus.) In our village there
are a few excellent restaurants.
Our comfortable apartment is equipped with wireless Internet access, radio, flatscreen TV with
satellite receiver and DVD. The kitchen is fully equipped with a combi-grill magnetron, fridge, freezer,
washing machine , dishwasher, coffee maker, hotel safe ,Senseo ; mobile airco and more. Guests
may also enjoy the use of a separate living room, salon and bath room adjacent to the kitchen.

About us :
Chris has been a nurse for 37 years . Jos was a teacher and a fireman since 1972 until 2007. We
are married for 37 years and retired now . We have one son , and three lovely grandchildren ,
probably , you gonna hear them when they arrive !
We have build our home a few years after our marriage in 1971 and later when our son met his wife
, they have lived here upstairs during 6 years . Two of our grandchildern are born here. A few years
ago our son build his own house and our house became to large . We had the choice : sell our
home or stay . Because we like to meet people , we started a bed and breakfast . You're welcome ..
In de hall you see examples of lace (lace of Turnhout ) made by our grandmother .

INTERNET : you can use the computer to search the internet or play games or check your e-mails
at home . If you want to make an wireless connection with your portable , please ask for the CODE
KEY on the host.
Check in: from 3 PM - Check out: between 11 AM and 12 AM ( Or by appointment if the apartment
before or after your reservation is not busy. You may already storage luggage and bikes until the
apartment is ready. Ask for, when you make your reservation )
Telephone : Most of our guests have a GSM or you can hire one .
'Honesty'-bar : Feel free to help yourself to anything you want to taste from a number of Belgian beer
varieties and just note down what you have had. Besides the assortment of beers, we also have
some soft drinks and wines from France , Italy and Spain at your disposal.
BREAKFAST : You can make your own breakfast if you like to do so. If you want us to bring the
continental/american breakfast upstairs , no problem if you inform us in the first part of the evening .
You can order by a list or tell/write us your wishes .
Normally we do not provide meals . On the other hand , you can always make arrangements with
the hostess Chris ( lunchpakket, … ) . There a cosy restaurants in the neighbourhood special
menu for our guests for 20 €
LAUNDRY :see instructions of the washing machine . Use only liquid detergent , no powder please
! You do not have to wash the towels/sheets we provide you. Leave it to the hostess . Bathrobe
included
GARDEN : You can have your breakfast and meals outside in our garden if the weather is good of
course. Contact the hostess.
Rent a Bike : Please ask your hostess .
TOWELS and SHEETS included: Once in a week we change the sheets an take the towels for the
wash. But if you need anything else , please let us know.
Cleaning included : Once in a week the hostess cleans your apartment if you want so.
Energy : water , gas , electricity included .

Kids < 12 years -50 %! Example : you stay three days with 2 adults, you pay 65€ /night ) . For a stay
of several days, a deposit has to be paid .
