Welcome to Pheasant Field, a Carlisle bed & breakfast, where you will enjoy casual, country
elegance in our historic brick farmhouse.
Our B&B inn is conveniently located just east of Carlisle, Pennsylvania - an easy drive to
Gettysburg, Hershey, Harrisburg, Boiling Springs, Mechanicsburg, and Amish country. Our
Carlisle, PA lodging features seven guest rooms - one of which is wheelchair accessible. We
also offer pet friendly lodging, overnight horse boarding, and extended stay lodging in our one-
bedroom apartment. You can relax by hiking on the Appalachian Trail or fly fishing in the Yellow
Breeches or the LeTort Spring Run. Our B&B is a perfect site for weddings, receptions, special
gatherings, retreats, and family reunions.
Carlisle is famous for collector car shows held at the Carlisle Fairgrounds during the spring,
summer, and fall. Dickinson College, Messiah College, and Penn State's Dickinson School of
Law are also located nearby. The US Army War College at Carlisle Barracks - also home of the
Carlisle Indian School, Jim Thorpe's alma mater - is just 3 miles from our bed and breakfast.

is believed to be the builder of our early 1800’s federal style farmhouse.

College or Messiah College student will enjoy the private bath, vanity with double sink outside

refrigerator. The private bath has a handicap accessible roll-in shower stall and ADA approved
toilet. The slant front desk is large enough to hold your laptop but small enough to be
unobtrusive. Enjoy the view of our 200-year-old barn and horse pastures. This room welcomes
your pet guests too.

futon, La-Z-Boy recliner, and faux fireplace. The small kitchenette is fully outfitted with

onto the training ring where you may hear the whinny of one of the resident horses. The bath
has a tub/shower combination with the sink in a separate area. Parents enjoy the privacy and
roominess of Boxwood Cottage while dropping off, picking up or staying for the duration of a
Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet summer program. This unit is pet friendly and great for an
extended stay in the Harrisburg and Hershey areas.

private bath has a step-in shower stall and antique vanity. There is a $10 fee for guest pets.

book. The private bath with skylight allows you to star gaze while relaxing in the whirlpool tub.
The separate shower stall features a massaging shower head.
Lady Amherst’s Library may also be reserved as a suite. The adjacent living room’s loveseat
converts to a twin size-bed – perfect for a family vacation, guys' trip to see the Carlisle car
