THE HOUSE...
... is a modern comfortable three-storey family house.
THE ROOMS
... are all exterior, spacious, and with plenty of light.
There are single and double rooms, with a bathroom on each floor. (The single room on the
first floor has its own private bathroom.)
FACILITIES and CONVENIENCES
In our house, we want you to feel as at home as you do in your own. Feel free to use the
living room to relax, read a magazine, watch TV or a DVD whenever you feel like it.
We have a computer available to our guests as well as free ADSL access (wi fi) to the
Internet in all rooms.
If you are learning Spanish, you will have plenty of opportunity to practice with your hostess
and enjoy conversations on a host of topics with her. Follow the 'Learning Spanish' link
above!
Your hostess is a qualified Spanish teacher(University of Sevilla).
The house has central heating throughout.
There is air conditioning in the living room. The two downstairs rooms on the patio receive
no direct sunlight and so are quite cool in summer. (Fans are provided in heat waves!)
Rooms are cleaned and bedclothes and towels are changed once a week.
The washing machine can be used free of charge by long-stay guests.
Guests have their own key and can come and go as they please.
Parking is available nearby in the street.
You can receive telephone calls, but the house phone cannot be used to make calls.
Remember, we do provide 24-hour free ADSL Internet access.
CONDITIONS
Rent is to be paid in full on arrival and then monthly in advance.
We require a deposit to confirm your booking, to be returned at the end of your stay. In the
case of no-shows, this deposit can only be returned in exceptional circumstances. With few
rooms available, losses caused by short-term cancellations can be significant.
Short-term stays are B&B; long-term stays are half board (breakfast & evening meal) or
self-catering with limited use of the kitchen. There is no cooked meal on Saturday; it's the
cook's day off!
There are two cats in the house.
LOCATION
The house is situated in the peace and quiet of a residential area, on the edge of the city
centre.
The house is situated in el Zaidin, a residential neighbourhood in the southeast of the city
close to shopping centre Carrefour, the Palacio de Deportes, and the Campus de la Salud.

Within a five-minute walk from our house you will find the best sports facilities in Granada:
indoor swimming pool, tennis courts; the Palacio de Deportes and municipal football
stadium; a choice of excellent gyms...
Granada's largest park - with gym apparatus, and cycle and jogging paths - is a short jog
away.
The Science Museum and Museum of Andalusia are nearby.
The Congress Centre in the city centre is a twelve-minute walk.
There are bus connexions to all parts of the city (line 4, 5 & 8). The 8 gets you to the city
centre (Puerta Real) in a matter of ten - fifteen minutes.
Rates:
We offer accommodation (half board, or bed & breakfast) in our comfortable three-storey
house in Granada.
We rent out four rooms in the house.
Three of these are on the ground floor, and two of them exit onto the small patio.
Both are spacious. The larger of the two can be rented as a triple (though it rarely happens).
The other is normally a single for long-term guests, but it can accommodate two
comfortably. These two rooms share a bathroom.
There is another small single on the ground floor, which is occupied on occasions.
The fourth room is a small single on the first floor, between the living room and the kitchen.
This has its own bathroom across a passageway.
We accept short-stay guests who want to see the tourist and historical sights of our city, as
well as long-term guests who come to Granada for a longer period to study or to work.
For short stays, the price is 15 euros per person per night (single, double, or triple room).
For long stays, the price is 550 euros for a single room with half board;
450 euros per person in a shared double room;
or 350 euros 'self service' (use of kitchen to prepare own meal).
